One of my new year's resolution was to try and shop more ethically, ditch the high street and start taking a greater interest in where, and by whom, my threads are made. The IOU Project is on a mission to break our consumerist reliance upon mass-produced and unethically sourced cheap clothing, in a word disposable fashion. And, if the aesthetics of their promotional video are anything to go by - I just love the sixties' letter fonts and luscious earthy shades - the clothes could be very exciting indeed.

whoa! i totally just did a post on this too! i got an email a few weeks ago about it and it really hit a soft spot in my heart. so happy to see you are on board too! and thank you for that lovely comment, it was really sweet. i love your blog too! you have such a nice variety of photos, beautiful photos! i need to bring my camera around with me more.. but things aren't as beautiful around where i live.
