This is a very naughty post as it's my final day of revision before my monolithic Nineteenth Century literature exam and I should really get back to Ruskin and The Nature of Gothic. Still, it's raining outside and I wanted to post these pictures of summery outfits while the memory is still fresh. (The great British summer is brief but beautiful.)

Dulcie Does English Heatwave Pt.2
This is actually what I nearly wore on Monday: the wind being potent enough to blow one's skirt entirely over one's head and prompting a rapid wardrobe re-think due to the large amount of builders about. I'm actually wearing head to toe Topshop, something I don't really like to do, but everything matched so perfectly I couldn't prevent it from happening. This is the first time I've sported the socks and sandals trend and I'm not sure it'll go down very well in rural Norfolk so Manchester became my willing guinea pig. The sandals are going to require a lot of breaking in and I tracked the socks down with a little direction from The Red Rosette.
Right, I really must get back to revision now even though my brain has now reached saturation point and the thought of memorising Hopkins quotes actually leaves me trembling and nauseous. Maybe I'll post a few Hopkins' poems later...?
