Mine!

I bit the bullet today and bought this luscious mannequin, both as an assistant for my etsy store and to decorate my bedroom. I get the feeling she's going to have a real personality and that we're going to get on ever so well and at £50, including DHL delivery, she just radiates generosity! I can't wait to just casually hang my tape measure around her shoulders.

  1. I was so excited when I got my mannequin! It is purely for display purposes though.. I can't use it to make clothes on as the measurements are all wrong for me, but I still love it! What I'm wanting at the moment is a proper dress makers dummy.
Your one is really nice too.

Thanks for the great comment! And those photos were taken on the welsh coast, when we were on holiday. I live in the West Midlands.

  2. So jealous! I would love a mannequin, maybe when I'm not so poor I will treat myself.

  3. I have one. I use it more for sewing than for display, but it does make my office look more crafty. (I named it Judy. I don't know if other people name their dress forms, but it just seemed appropriate.) Enjoy!
